What’s better than a BFF that you can wod with? Grab a partner for our Double Trouble Throwdown competition!

This year’s event will be a partner competition, meaning you’ll team up with one other athlete. You and your partner will work together to complete the workouts, combining your strengths and supporting each other through every challenge. Team strategy and communication will be key to conquering the 3 WODs plus a Floater event, with 4 total scores determining your team’s final ranking. Grab a partner, bring your best effort, and get ready to compete!

Event WOD Lineup

The workouts are set and guaranteed to test your grit, strategy, and teamwork. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or hitting the competition floor for the first time, these WODs will push your limits and fire up your competitive spirit. It is almost go time. Are you ready?

WOD 1: Sink or Swim

Distance Total:
100 meters = 2 laps (down and back twice)

Workout:
3…2…1… GO!

  1. Partner A swims 100 meters (2 laps)

  2. Partner B swims 100 meters (2 laps)

  3. Partner A swims 200 meters (4 laps)

  4. Partner B swims 200 meters (4 laps)

  5. Partner A swims 100 meters (2 laps)

  6. Partner B swims 100 meters (2 laps)

After completing the swim portion, both partners will move to the sandbags and complete:
30 Sandbag Cleans (alternating partners each rep)

WOD 2: WOD Just Happened

RX Division

  • 24″/20″ Box Jumps

  • Handstand Push-Ups (HSPU)

  • 20/14 lb Wall Balls to 10’/9’ target

Intermediate Division

  • 24″/20″ Box Step-Ups

  • Push-Ups

  • 14/10 lb Wall Balls to 10’/9’ target

Scaled Division

  • 20″ Box Step-Ups

  • Knee Push-Ups

  • 10/10 lb Wall Balls to 9’ target

WOD 3: Teeter Totter

GRACE/ISABEL:
  • Athlete A: 1 Clean & Jerk
  • Athlete B: 1 Snatch
Alternate every rep
Continue until 30 reps of each movement are completed
RX:

Rules:
Athletes cannot switch lifts once the workout starts
If a rep is failed:
→ The athlete must either successfully redo the rep or
→ Complete 5 Burpee Over Bar Double Jumps to count it as 1 rep
→ The other athlete may not lift until the rep is made up
